The CHEV series is a hermetically sealed high-voltage DC relay for BEV, FCEV, and EV charging applications, rated for 60 A or 120 A at up to 750 VDC. It features magnetic driving, arc suppression, and anti-welded contacts. Available in standard and economized coil types, it uses PWM to reduce hold power to 1.9 W. Mounting is via M5 screws, with a weight of approximately 210 g. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Electrical endurance reaches 35,000 operations at 450 VDC for 60 A models. Coil voltage options include 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 12-24 VDC. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ min at 1000 VDC, with 4000 VAC dielectric strength between coil and contacts. Mechanical endurance is 200,000 operations minimum under no load.
