Accurate and versatile fixture for round, square, and hex-shaped workpieces (ideal for secondary operations on screw-machine parts). Uses standard 5C collets, including step collets for large diameters, expanding collets for ID clamping, and emergency collets for special shapes. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Height-adjustment assembly is removable for through-feeding. Available in two types: single collet and triple collet. The single-collet version, shown here, allows spacing workpieces farther apart, ideal for machining parts with large heads or when using large cutters. The single-collet version is also useful for multiple-spindle machines.
