FEATURES: These precision Riser Blocks provide an economical way to raise an MC60 or MC60Z vise for 5-Axis machining. The 3 x 3 x 7 block shown here is furnished with locating and mounting holes on top for a 5-axis vise, and with bottom locating holes for accurately mounting on a modular fixture plate. This size can also be mounted directly on a rotary table. Made in USA. MOUNTING ON A MODULAR PLATE: Modular-fixturing plates have multipurpose holes, with a .5000-dia bushing on top for location, and 1/2-13 threads below for fastening. Use two CL-MF40-4301 Locating Screws to locate and fasten the Riser Block to the modular plate. MOUNTING ON A MACHINE TABLE: To locate the Riser Block at the exact center of a machine table, first install a Center Locating Key that matches the table's center-hole diameter in the riser's 25mm bottom center hole. For exact radial orientation, install a Step Fixture Key that matches the table's slot width in the riser's 20mm bottom slot. Fasten the riser to the machine table with two 1/2-13 x 1.25 or M12 x 30mm socket-head cap screws and T Nuts to match the table slots. MATERIAL: Body > Gray cast iron, ASTM class 40, black oxide finish. Bushings > High-carbon steel, heat treated. DFARS and RoHS compliant.
