The QD3NL product line features high flow quick disconnects with a double shut off dry break feature and no latching mechanism. Internal and external ends will shut off when disconnected. The dry break connects without leakage or fluid spray. Additionally, the design minimizes dead volume (the space between the internal and external ends when connected) to limit any leakage when disconnecting. The M8 thread option allows for an equivalent flow path of 0.180 in. Non-Latching: This quick disconnect assembly does not include a latching or release mechanism. This works well when the assembly will be inaccessible or when several quick disconnect assemblies are mounted together. This makes the QD3NL series popular for cooling racks and other applications that have their own built in latching functionality. Max Pressure Rating: 200 psig Maximum Spill Volume Upon Disconnection: Approximately 0.065ml Wetted Materials: 302, 303 and 316 Stainless Steel components. The design incorporates a bronze based sleeve which is not in the flow path while connected but could be exposed to process fluid during disconnection per the above listed spill volume. Engagement Length Engagement Force Alignment Specification Features Non-latching design allows for easier integration in some systems. Shuts off when disconnected.
