The HotSpotIR is an infrared scanning system designed to detect emerging hot spots on moving conveyor belts in industrial environments. It features a fixed-focus lens with a target distance of >1200 mm and a 100:1 field of view, scanning at up to 100 Hz with an 80° scan angle. The system operates within ambient temperatures of 5 to 70 °C and is sealed to IP65. It includes a Class 2 laser alignment system compliant with IEC60825-1:2001 and offers hazardous location versions with ATEX Zone 20 or Zone 21 approval. The unit measures 206 x 209 x 100 mm and is mounted via a keyed, quick-release bracket for easy installation and maintenance.
