The Leak Alert from Zircon is designed to prevent serious water damage in your home. This self-contained battery-powered unit sounds an 85 dB alarm when it gets wet, alerting you to a potential water leak. Simply place Leak Alert anywhere the potential for flooding or leaking exists, like under sinks or near boiler systems. The Leak Alert works by having 2 external metal strips that have a low electrical current running through them. Once both strips get wet from a leak, the electrical circuit is complete and the alarm will trigger.
