The SH2296 is a high power, 2-way loudspeaker system, designed for sound reinforcement applications. The system is comprised of two 12" low frequency drivers and a large-format, high frequency compression driver, coupled to a constant-directivity 90° x 60° horn. Combining 98 dB sensitivity with 2000 Watts (continuous) power handling, the SH2296 delivers sound pressure levels well beyond those typical of systems its size.
The SH2296 is designed to be easily pole mounted on a speaker stand or above an SHO Series subwoofer, using the Wharfedale Pro SP Series pole mount accessory. The rugged steel pole mount accessory, which is finished in black paint, is 34 5/8 inches (880 mm) tall and has a diameter of 1 3/8 inches (35mm).
Additionally, the SH2296 is fitted with a total of twenty two M10 threaded inserts to facilitate flying the cabinet, where needed.
