Sleeved WaterPEX tubing is a factory pre-assembled coil of WaterPEX cross-linked polyethylene tubing encased in black, SIDR 15 controlled HDPE conduit. The conduit serves as a protective barrier for the WaterPEX tubing against abrasion for burial and slab applications where an extra level of integrity is required by local and/or state building codes. The conduit is not designed to be pressurized or used for fluid conveyance. The Sleeved WaterPEX tubing features Lead Free* construction to comply with Lead Free* installation requirements.
