Watts Triple Duty Valve TDV

The Watts Series TDV Triple Duty Valve is designed for balancing and flow measurement applications in pump systems. It combines the functions of a shutoff valve, check valve, and flow control valve into a single unit, which reduces the number of components and connections required, leading to lower installation costs and minimized leak potential. The valve is available in sizes ranging from 2¬O" to 12" and features a ductile iron body with grooved ends, anti-rotation lugs, and two NPT connections on each side of the valve seat. The TDV's field-convertible design allows for easy conversion from a straight pattern to an angle pattern without the need for additional parts, enhancing versatility in installation. It includes features such as a soft seat for tight shutoff, a non-slam silent check valve, and is designed to meet ASHRAE flow recommendations for quiet operation. The valve can withstand a maximum working pressure of 375 psi and a maximum temperature of 230¬8F. Its materials include a bronze disc, stainless steel stem, and engineered resin or EPDM seats, depending on the size.
