Watts Series TR Transition Risers are designed to connect the main fire or potable water supply to a building's drinking water system. Available in sizes ranging from 4" to 12", these risers feature a single extended 90-degree fitting made from corrosion-resistant type 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and reliability. The risers include a CIPS coupler for easy connection to underground supplies and a grooved-end connection for compatibility with overhead fire sprinkler systems. They are factory tested for integrity and comply with NFPA 24, UL, and FM standards, which helps reduce installation time and labor costs by minimizing the number of fittings and joints required. Custom lengths from 3' to 20' are available, and the product is NSF approved for potable water supply. Note that 12" risers are not third-party approved, and local installation requirements should be verified.
Series TR Transition Risers are used to connect the main fire supply to the building overhead fire system. The fitting passes under the foundation without joints and extends up through the floor. Provided with installation tabs, the unit has a CIPS (Cast Iron Pipe Size) coupler for easy connection to the underground supply (AWWA C900 PVC) and (Ductile Iron Pipe) an industry standard grooved-end connection (AWWA C606) on the building side for easy connection to the overhead fire sprinkler system.
