Series U009 Reduced Pressure Zone Assemblies prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. It consists of a bronze body construction with a unique swivel union, two in-line independently operating check valves, a removable stainless-steel relief valve with captured springs and replaceable seat discs, four ball valve test cocks, and an air gap drain fitting. Its compact and space-saving design facilitates easy assembly and maintenance access. It is ideal for protection at health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance.
