Volktek - IEN-8648PA is a high-performance managed 8-port 10/100/1000 GbE PoE+ downlink and 4 GbE SFP uplink switch mainly designed for surveillance applications with remote and fast management. This industrial grade managed PoE+ switch features 8-port PSE (power sourcing equipment) ports to control all remote powered devices (PDs) with the help of automated features controlled from the web browser. The SFP ports offer long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions. The RJ45 type console port allows outbound network troubleshooting when networks go wrong. The USB port, designed to save configuration files, save system log files, and upgrade firmware, reduces network downtime and operational costs. This device protects the network following safe cybersecurity standards. The network topology map feature allows visualizing the network of connected devices.
This switch is built with industrial-grade components, enclosed in IP40 aluminum, to protect the device from tools and hazards. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, and temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 75℃ (-40°F~167°F). It fits most indoor and outdoor applications. The reset button restores the device to default factory settings if an issue arises after configuration. To ensure reliability the redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensures non-stop operations and issues alerts if power fails.
