Description
Dynacord The V 2-30 P has been designed as a long-throw Hi-cabinet (FARFIELD) providing a radiation angle of 30° x 30°. Being operated as an additional component to Hi-cabinets - like the V 12-60 A or the V 12-60 P - allows to eliminate the physically influenced reduction in the high frequency range over the distance, providing the possibility to significantly improve the sound quality of the extreme high frequencies in the farthest areas of multi-functional halls or huge festivity tents. The integrated Conical Waveguide Horn is fired by an Electro-Voice driver (DH 7) allowing the transmission of the frequency range above the 5kHz mark at a SPL of 112 dB 1W / 1m. The Farfield component is driven by a separate power amplifier and the system cabling is via pins 4+ and 4-. The incorporated passive frequency crossover (5 kHz and 18 dB/octave) and the PIN-assignment switch on the connection board allows paralleled operation of the Hi-cabinets V 12-60 P (Pin 2+ and 2- = Mid / High signal). Used together with active Hi-cabinets like for instance the V 12-60 A also provides the possibility for a separate Farfield-power amplifier (signal is present at the free pins 2+ and 2-) and parallel operation of Hi-cabinets via the pins 4+ and 4- (High-Signal of the V 12-60 A). A double halogen lamp protection prevents the components reliably from being damaged by either critical power levels or short-term thermal overload. The connection board offers two 8-pole Speakon female-type connectors and a single pin-assignment switch (Pin 2 - Pin 4) providing a trustworthy connection and trouble-free feeding the signal through. The enclosure is manufactured from 18-mm multi-ply birch wood 18 mm.
