Visual Sound, Inc. WXGA Digital Multimedia Projector PLV-WF20

Description
Sanyo North America Corporation Wide-Screen Images Deliver Remarkable Excitement The outstanding brightness and stunning images of Sanyo hall/cinema projectors make them ideal for use in digital cinema and a host of other emerging needs for next-generation large-screen viewing. Sanyo has moved quickly to support the wide-screen format. WXGA (1366 x 800 dots) panels The PLV-WF20 employs three WXGA (1366x800 dots)panels. Industry's First Dual-Lamp Light-Combining Technology The new light-combining system was developed after extensively reexamining the conventional dual-lamp layout. The new system uses three mirrors to achieve uniform light output from two lamps, reducing color irregularities and delivering high image quality. Image-Enhancing Circuitry Triple 3D Digital Circuits: The combination of a 3D digital progressive circuit, a 3D digital Y/C separation circuit, and a 3D digital noise reduction circuit produces truly beautiful images. Hybrid Crosstalk Canceller: The canceller minimizes crosstalk that is generated by signal interference between the LCD panel drive ICs and the driven pixels. Intelligent Sharpness Control: This helps to render sharp, crisp projection images at all times, regardless of the RGB/video input mode. 3D-AUCC: This is a circuit that corrects color irregularities due to brightness differences, to produce natural gradation. High-Purity Optics The high color purity of this optical system optimizes the reproduction of the three primary color: - red, green and blue. It delivers the high level of color performance that digital cinema demands. High-Contrast System This advanced optical system achieves high contrast to project high-quality images with rich black reproduction, maximizing the quality of the video signals. Contrast ratio (full on/full off) of 2,000:1 for the PLV-WF20 New Optical Engine We enhanced brightness by combining advanced optical components under optimal conditions. We also maximized cooling technology to increase light efficiency factors such as luminance and lamp output. Together, they achieve a high brightness level and low power consumption. Active Maintenance Filter (AMF) The AMF sensor detects the intake air volume. If the volume is less than the prescribed level, the filter is automatically wound and a clean filter surface is set in position. The filter can also be replaced without having to use any tools. Note: Active Maintenance Filter is a service part. Power Lens Shift This motor-driven lens shift lets you adjust the projected image position without having to move the projector, which greatly simplifies projector set-up. It also makes it easy to adjust the image projection when stacking two projectors. From 10:-3 to -3:10 5 vertically and 5:3 to 3:5 horizontally. The shift amount depends on the mounted lens. Multiple Lamp System Multiple high-intensity lamps ensure bright images. Depending on the projection conditions, you can select high-brightness mode, which uses all lamps, or economy mode, which turns on only half of the installed lamps. Should a lamp burn out in high-brightness mode, the fail-safe feature instantly switches to economy mode. Optional Lenses From short to long focus types, Sanyo offers a variety of optional lenses to match the projection distance, screen size, and projection conditions.
