Designed as a Sound Engineers Speaker for monitoring various Amplifiers installed in a System. A Sound Engineer using this, can verify that each Amplifier is putting out Audio. The Unit's specially designed circuit provides complete protection against "Speaker Burn out" and can be safely connected to almost any Amplifier and has been tested with Amplifiers up to 2000 watt output without compromise. Multiple Input connections to the Speaker unit uses either Neutrik SpeakerON®, 1/4 "Jack, or RCA Connectors allowing quick and easy connection to any Amplifier in a System. The unit has a total of 8 Speakers (2 Banks of 4) allowing the unit to be outputted either in Mono or Stereo using the Back Panel Mono/Stereo Selector Switch. Its diminutive1RU RackSpace size, makes it perfect for any 19" Equipment Rack, Machine Room, Security Surveillance, Outside Broadcast Vans, Editing Monitoring and Theme Parks. Made of Aluminum, weighing less than 1 1/2 lbs., it is particularly suitable for any Mobile application where its light weight and small size are much sought after features. Although designed as a Confidence Device, some users will find its sound quality is adequate to use it on it's own. As each Amplifier's Impedance can vary, the Front Panel Adjustment Control is used to match the differing Impedances to provide the best Sound Output from the Unit.
