Dynacord The MT 115 is a subwoofer system with an integrated passive PowerMax 12 subwoofer frequency crossover, highest efficiency and extreme compact dimensions. The optimally vented cabinet design houses an DL 15Y woofer, which guarantees highest power handling, high efficiency, and low distortion. The integrated passive PowerMax 12 crossover allows direct parallel operation of the sub woofer together with full range cabinets, such as the MX 11, and easy setup of passive satellite systems. Thermal breakers and halogen protectors prevent that the DL 15Y woofer is damaged by critical output levels and short-term thermal overload. The enclosure is made of 16 mm Mediapan. It is slotted, glued and internally braced to eliminate unwanted resonances. The cabinet's surface is coated with hard-wearing matte black structure lacquer. Front protection for the woofer is gained through an extremely stable, powder-coated metal grille. The terminal board of the MT115 provides two Speakon female-type connectors which ensure a secure connection and trouble-free carrying the signal through. Four heavily dimensioned rubber foot stands ensure reliable stand. The MT 115 provides 14 covered M10 threaded flanges for rigging. Therefore it can be easily used in "flown" installations. Four M10 eyebolts are supplied within the package.
