IX610-EL: 10.07" dia.x 10"D steel backbox with extended lip for sheetrock/plaster and internal speaker mounting plate to directly mount 6" speaker with 8" torsion-mount grille. Features 4 combination knockouts (0.5"-0.75"), torsion slots on inner plate, 1.5" acoustic batting, and multi-use top cover plate. Top plate has side flanges and holes for seismic tie-down or flown installation. Includes center-mount, removable 1-gang plate with 0.5" Romex connector for wire termination and access to transformer mounting bracket (suspended internally from the plate). Black finish. Accepts torsion-mount grilles: CN8M, CS8W, WB8T. Accepts screw-mount grilles: A8AW, CS8H, LO8P, OM8P, RS8AW, WB8, WB8H
