Visual Sound, Inc. HP94 Small Install Horn HP94

Description
Electro-Voice The HP94 is a wide-range, flat-front, high-frequency, constant-directivity horn. It offers economy of space, where geometry is "just big enough for the job." A horizontal angle is controlled over a frequency range of 1.7 kHz to 20 kHz, and the vertical angle is controlled from 1.8 kHz to 20 kHz with unusual precision. Loading is maintained to a low frequency of 650 Hz. The HP Series horns (U.S. Patent no. 4,629,029) represent the latest development in Constant Directivity design, employing the same principles EV engineers used to design the world's first Constant Directivity horns in 1974. The HP94's flat-front TransPlanar™ design makes it suitable for all modern boxes and clustered systems. A unique, integral, fiberglass-and-zinc construction gives a strength-to-weight ratio superior to conventional fiberglass horns, resulting in exceptional throat-area strength and elimination of wall vibrations. The HP94's special, vaned, waveguide throat detail delivers superior, high-frequency, vertical control compared to similar two-inch-throat horn designs.
