The new AKG HC 577 has been designed to be nearly invisible in use, yet deliver premium, pristine audio quality. The HC 577 uses the world's smallest dual-diaphragm mic capsule for automatic redundancy, insensitivity to moisture and perspiration and reduction of cable and shock-induced noise. The microphone uses a CK 77 omnidirectional transducer that has been an industry standard for lavalier capsules for years and delivers superior audio performance. It comes with two grille screens - one for maximally-flat response and the other that delivers a gentle presence rise for a more up-front sound quality. The HC 577 uses dual-ear temple pieces for extreme stability and optimum comfort. The length of the neck-back frame is easily adjustible. The microphone's boom can be mounted on the left or right side of the user's mouth and the length of the microphone boom is also completely adjustable. The HC 577 comes in a matte flex-tone finish and its output is a mini-XLR connector for use with AKG wireless systems. The HC 577 can be converted to a standard XLR output with the optional MPAVL adapter cable. Elegant, high-performance and comfortable to wear and use - the AKG HC 577. Very comfortable, yet stays in place thanks to dual-ear headband Insensitive to moisture, perspiration, and salts Dual-diaphragm transducer for cable noise and shock suppression Compatible with all AKG wireless systems Flesh-tone color and small size makes the microphone very inconspicuous Flexible headband design fits any-sized head easily and comfortably
