The CK 950 miniature microphone has been developed for miking speech and instruments. It can be used for a lot of applications where unobtrusive positioning is essential such as podiums, pulpits and miking instruments such as violins or acoustic guitars. Depending on the applied accessory, the CK 950 can be used for hanging installations from a ceiling or mounted on a microphone stand with 3/8" thread. The CK 950 is insensitive to sound from the rear and provides an excellent, frequency-independen
t polar pattern. The sound is clear and precise as well as warm and natural. A pre-attenuation (-15 dB) can be selected inside the microphone capsule when very high sound pressure levels occur. The CK 950 is powered by the CV 900 power supply, which features a selectable low-cut filter of 6 dB/ octave below 250 Hz.
