The AMP2-E16-3G from Wohler Technologies is our latest solution offering 16 channel, multi-rate SDI audio monitoring with Dolby capability. The AMP2-E16-3G represents leading edge technology and features. The aural fidelity of our most popular models has been improved with a ClassD digital amplifier system to drive the integrated speakers and sub-woofer. 16 channels of embedded HD/SD-SDI audio can be selected for simultaneous display, and concurrently monitored on an innovative LCD screen that is easily user configured for bargraph meter look, scale and ballistics. All popular scales are available on screen, at the touch of a button. Gone are the days of stick on labels. Any chosen signal can be routed to either the left, right or both speakers for stereo or mono applications. All serial audio channels are deembedded and available on the rear panel as 8 unbalanced AES signal pairs. A reclocked loop out provides a ninth output, allowing the AMP2-E16-3G to be racked with a series with video monitors. The operational feature set of the AMP2-E16-3G is unmatched! This unit provides instant access to solo monitoring of individual channels or gangs. When the solo function is enabled, each channel selected is highlighted for easy identification, while all other channels remain active for visual evaluation. Power tools like loudness measurement complies with ITU-1770, and delay-to-match LCD monitor and ingest process are included. Monitoring of encoded Dolby (Dolby D/E) is an available option and adds even more tools to the AMP2-E16-3G.
