The 800i is an all-in-one interactive whiteboard system that helps you manage your classroom technology. In a class of its own As part of the 800 series, the 800i represents a new class of interactive whiteboard. This multitouch system features a powerful interactive whiteboard and multiuser Pen Tray to enable true collaborative experiences. The 800i also includes the SMART UF65 projector, which reduces shadows and glare, and an extended control panel to help you control the system. First-class collaboration The 800 series offers you the dependable, adaptable and intuitive interactive capabilities that you've come to expect from a SMART Board interactive whiteboard, but with new advancements that make lessons more collaborative and engaging. More opportunities to interact The 800 series uses DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology to identify when a user switches between a finger, pen and eraser. A user can also write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger, without having to press buttons, access on-screen menus or replace tools in the Pen Tray. Two users can work together on lessons at the same time, while completing different actions, like moving objects or writing in digital ink. The magic of touch Touch becomes second nature with the 800 series. The interactive whiteboard features touch gesture* capabilities, so you can use simple, intuitive hand and finger gestures to toss, rotate or zoom in on objects or access other applications on your Windows 7 or Snow Leopard operating system. You can also independently write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger.
