First-class collaboration The 800 series offers you the dependable, adaptable and intuitive interactive capabilities that you've come to expect from a SMART Board interactive whiteboard, but with new advancements that make lessons more collaborative and engaging. More opportunities to interact The 800 series uses DViT (Digital Vision Touch) technology to identify when a user switches between a finger, pen and eraser. A user can also write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger, without having to press buttons, access on-screen menus or replace tools in the Pen Tray. Two users can work together on lessons at the same time, while completing different actions, like moving objects or writing in digital ink. The magic of touch Touch becomes second nature with the 800 series. The interactive whiteboard features touch gesture* capabilities, so you can use simple, intuitive hand and finger gestures to toss, rotate or zoom in on objects or access other applications on your Windows 7 or Snow Leopard operating system. You can also independently write with a pen, erase with a palm and move objects with a finger. The magical touch experience of the 800 series means interacting with lessons is natural and easy - there's no need to access on-screen menus. *Feature will be supported upon release of SMART Notebook 10.7 software, expected by March 2011.
