The VEGAPULS C 21 is a two-wire radar sensor designed for continuous level measurement with a measuring range of up to 15 meters and an accuracy of ¬±2 mm. It operates using 80 GHz radar technology, allowing for non-contact measurement that is independent of medium properties and process conditions. This sensor is suitable for various applications, including water treatment, pumping stations, rain overflow basins, and flow measurement in open channels, as well as for monitoring levels in small bulk solids silos or containers. The device features an output signal of 4 ,Ķ 20 mA/HART and is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless adjustments via smartphones or tablets. It has a robust construction with a protection rating of IP66/IP68, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor can withstand process pressures from -1 to +3 bar and temperatures ranging from -40 to +80 ¬8C. The wetted parts are made of PVDF, ensuring durability in various industrial settings. The VEGAPULS C 21 is also available with different electronics versions, including options for SDI-12 and Modbus protocols.
