The Agilent E5974A is a small, portable Dual Laser Source for 1310/1550 nm. It provides two independent laser diodes and single-wavelength as well as dual-wavelength mode. In the latter mode the laser diodes are activated alternately at four-second intervals (TWINtest mode).
The attenuation of devices under tset (DUTs) can be measured at two wavelengths simultaneously. The source transmits unmodulated (CW) signals or modulated (FMOD) signals with frequencies of 270 Hz, 1 kHz and 2 kHz.
