For field and shop thermoplastic production welding, with built-in compressor that provides ample air for speed welding. Kit includes: 500 watt, 120 volt element, air filter, gauge, regulator, round tip, tacking tip, tray, carrying case, and welder guide book. Approx. 3-1/2 to 5 lbs. of air or gas is needed for 400 and 500 watt elements, and 6 to 8 lbs. for 650 watt elements. Do not weld thinner than 1/16". For plastic welders use nitrogen gas to weld polyethylene and polypropylene; compressed air for PVC, CPVC and ABS.
