The XC6808B2C18R-G is a linear charger IC designed for single-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer batteries, featuring a constant-voltage and constant-current charging mechanism. It supports charge voltages of 4.20V, 4.35V, and 4.40V, and allows for adjustable charge currents between 5mA and 40mA through external resistors. The device includes a built-in battery temperature detection function compliant with JEITA standards, enabling safe charging by adjusting the charge parameters based on temperature conditions. This IC operates within a voltage range of 4.5V to 6.0V and has a low battery sink current of 0.1¬µA when not in use. It is housed in a compact USP-6B07 package, measuring 1.8mm x 2.0mm x 0.33mm, which minimizes the need for external components in the charging circuit.
