MTG Flexing oil resistant multi-conductor cables are engineered for applications where the cable is expected perform in extreme heat related issues such as coke oven batteries, ladel cars, hot metal transfer cars, shielded and or armored blast furnace instrumentation cables etc and other applications of an extreme nature where extreme heat resistance is required and moisture/oil and fluid resistance is required. This is absolutely the best high-temperature cable available. Designed to pass MIL-W-25038 flame test for missle lead wire ("shake and bake") This cable is designed for example for equipment such as high flexing machines, required to operate under demanding environmental conditions. Thermal Wire and Cable MTG cables incorporate a proprietary outer jacket that prevents the migration of oils and other fluids in the presence of heat and continuous flexing applications. Thermal Wire and Cable offers an optional extra- flexible stranded oxygen-free high-conductivity nickel-coated copper and conductor configuration which will ultimatly promote long term conductor life in the presence of long term heat and flexing. Thermal Wire and Cable MTG is continuously temperature rated to +538C (UL/CSA 450C). The moisture/vapor barrier is maximum rated to 350C. MTG Cables are resistant to temperature excursions exceeding 2800F and will continue to operate even after exposure to 2000F for over 7 hours. ETL 1093C circuit integrity test available upon request. The insulating system is composed of inorganic materials that will not melt or flow at temperatures up to 3000F. MTG is available in many pairs, shielded pairs multi-conductor cables. MTG utilizes a fused PTFE moisture/vapor barrier that is laminated to the underneath side of a braid to prevent the migration of fluids, oils, etc. This technology also eliminates the itching and associated dermatitis that often is associated with glass braid jacketed lead wires. Braided 304 stainless steel jacket, stainless steel interlocked armor or CLX armor available overall when the cable will likely experience abnormal physical abuse.
