Thermal Wire and Cable LLC 150-1010211-*

Description
Thermal Wire and Cable's Hermetic Motor Lead Wire offers a wide service temperature range of -65C to +150C. Thermal Wire's Hermetic lead wires are insulated with Tefzel 750 insulated conductors and are 30% smaller in diameter than the combination of polyester fiber and polyester film insulated Hermetic Lead cables allowing installation in tight places. Also Thermal Wire and Cable's Hermetic Motor Lead Wires cost less than conventional polyester fiber braided cables and the minimum order requirements and lead time are generally less as well. Scrap is reduced do to long continuous lengths. Thermal Wire's Hermetic Motor Lead Wire is designed to replace DMD hermetic motor lead wire. The construction is UL Recognized for this application and meets all of the requirements for refrigeration compressors and offers ease of stripping and termination that DMD cables lack. Lead wire with Tefzel is easier to strip, terminate and handle than DMD wire constructions so it saves on labor costs. Because the insulation is extruded as opposed to wrapped and braided, the cost is competitive with DMD while significantly increasing the insulations reliability. Thermal Wire's Hermetic Motor Lead Wire insulated with Tefzel 750 produces very little smoke when burned, and is chemically inert to nearly all industrial chemicals and solvents. As a primary insulation, Tefzel 750 couples superior dielectric properties, is abrasion resistant, heat resistant and its durability is second to none. Its flexible nature and small diameter profile provides for easy, economical installations. Fully pigmented insulation in bright colors aids in positive identification. Compared with other high temperature cables that are augmented with a braid, Thermal Wire and Cable Hermetic Motor Lead Wire will slide rather than tear, and its abrasion resistance helps eliminate cut-through and other damage that can occur during installation and use. Available in 20 AWG - 4/O. Tinned copper strands are standard. Available in multi-conductor cables and shielded pairs. *Please specify color : 1-tan, 2-red, 3-orange, 4-yellow, 5-green, 6-blue, 7-purple, 8-gray,9-white. Stripe color example : -100 tan base color with two black stripes. Intended Use : Lead wire within Hermetically Sealed Motors where the acceptability of the combination is to be determined by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. **Based on single conductor in free air @ 40C. Please consult article 310 of the national electrical code for further application and ampacity information.
