The TRSF3223EIDWG4 is a multichannel RS-232 line driver and receiver designed to operate with a supply voltage ranging from 3 V to 5.5 V. It features two drivers and two receivers, capable of data signaling rates up to 1000 kbit/s. The device includes ¬±15 kV ESD protection for RS-232 bus pins, ensuring robust performance in environments susceptible to electrical discharge. It meets or exceeds TIA/EIA-232-F and ITU v.28 standards, making it suitable for various applications, including battery-powered systems, PDAs, notebooks, and hand-held equipment. The TRSF3223EIDWG4 also incorporates a dual charge-pump circuit that allows operation from a single supply and has a low standby current of 1 OºA typical.
