The TPA6204A1 is a 1.7-W mono fully differential Class-AB audio amplifier designed for applications such as wireless handsets, PDAs, and notebook computers. It operates from a supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V and consumes a low quiescent current of 4 mA, making it suitable for battery-powered devices. The amplifier provides 1.7 W output power into an 8 Oc load at a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 10%. It features a fast start-up time with minimal pop noise and has a shutdown current of only 0.01 µA. The device is designed to reduce RF rectification and eliminate the need for two input coupling capacitors, thanks to its -63 dB common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR).
