The TLV320AIC12K is a low-power, highly integrated mono voice band codec designed for portable applications. It features a 16-bit analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion with a programmable sampling rate of up to 26 kSPS, utilizing oversampling sigma-delta technology. The device includes an 8-ohm speaker amplifier, making it suitable for applications requiring audio output. This codec supports a maximum master clock of 100 MHz and offers a smart time division multiplexed (SMARTDM,Ñ¢) serial port for seamless integration with TI DSPs and microcontrollers. It can be cascaded with up to 16 devices on a single serial port, facilitating multichannel audio processing.
