The TLC5916 is an 8-bit constant-current LED sink driver designed by Texas Instruments. It features eight independently controlled output channels, allowing for flexible LED configurations. The output current can be adjusted through a single external resistor, with a range from 3 mA to 120 mA per channel, making it suitable for driving either single LEDs or multiple LEDs in series. The device maintains constant output current regardless of load voltage changes, ensuring consistent LED brightness. The TLC5916 supports a maximum LED voltage of 20 V and operates with a supply voltage of 3.3 V to 5.5 V.
