The SLK2511IPZP is a multirate transceiver IC designed for SONET/SDH applications, supporting data rates of OC-48, OC-24, OC-12, and OC-3. It features programmable de-emphasis for the serial output and operates with a low jitter PECL compatible differential serial interface. The device includes on-chip termination for LVDS and PECL interfaces, with a minimum receiver differential input threshold of 150 mV. This transceiver supports clock and data recovery, as well as multiplexing and demultiplexing functions, making it suitable for high-speed timing signal derivation in SONET/SDH equipment. It can be configured for various operational modes, including transmit only, receive only, transceiver, and repeater functions.
