The MSP430F6746AIPZ is a 100-pin LQFP polyphase metering SoC designed for three-phase electronic watt-hour meters and utility metering applications. It features four independent 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs, a 25-MHz 32-bit multiplier CPU, 256 KB of flash memory, 16 KB of RAM, and an LCD driver supporting up to 320 segments. The device meets ANSI C12.20 and IEC 62053 accuracy standards, offers 4-quadrant power measurement per phase, and includes an integrated AES-128 encryption module and tamper-detection RTC. It supports multiple communication interfaces including UART, SPI, and I2C, and operates across a voltage range of 1.8 V to 3.6 V. Power consumption is ultra-low, with 0.34 µA in RTC mode (LPM3.5) and 0.18 µA in shutdown mode (LPM4.5). The package measures 14 mm × 14 mm.
