The LP8550TLX-A/NOPB is a high-efficiency LED backlight driver designed for notebook applications. It features a high-voltage DC/DC boost converter with an integrated FET, supporting an input voltage range of 2.7 V to 22 V, making it suitable for powering from 1x to 5x cell Li-Ion batteries. The device offers programmable PWM resolution from 8 to 13 true bits, with additional dithering capabilities for smooth brightness transitions. This driver includes six adjustable current sinks and supports both I²C and PWM brightness control.
