The BQ25620RYKR is a highly integrated 3.5-A switch-mode battery charger designed for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-Polymer batteries. It operates with a wide input voltage range of 3.9 V to 18 V and features a maximum input voltage of 26 V. The charger achieves over 90% efficiency at low output currents and supports various charging profiles, including a flexible JEITA profile for temperature-safe charging. This device incorporates narrow VDC power path management, allowing the system to operate even with a depleted battery. It features an I¬=C interface for configuration and monitoring, along with an integrated 12-bit ADC for voltage, current, and temperature measurements.
