TA 2 is a mold making thickening agent for 2 part condensation cure silicones. TA2 is a specially formulated thixotropic additive for use with condensation cure silicone rubbers. Use of this additive in the correct ratio, results in a non flowing / thixotropic version of each of the above products with minimal changes to the cured physical properties and useful working times. IMPORTANT: do not use to re-enforce addition cure silicone as this will inhibit the silicone. Techsil® TA 2 delivers almost instant thixotropy & has a high dimensional stability. It exhibits very low shrinkage (<0,1%) and you can accelerate curing with heat.
