ThreeBond TB1401C is a synthetic resin-based locking agent designed to prevent screws, nuts, and bolts from loosening, leaking, or rusting. It is suitable for use on plastic components and can replace conventional low strength anaerobic thread locking adhesives and tamper-proof paints. The product is a one-component solution that dries at room temperature and has a service temperature range of -40 to 150¬8C. The product is red in color with a viscosity of 350 mPa.s at 25¬8C and a specific gravity of 0.88. It contains 31% non-volatile matter and uses methanol as a solvent. The locking effectiveness increases over time, with loosening torque values reaching up to 10.5 N.m after seven days. It demonstrates good heat resistance, with loosening torque values decreasing at elevated temperatures. For optimal performance, surfaces should be clean and free of impurities before application. The product should be stored in a tightly sealed original container in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated area at temperatures between 10 and 25¬8C.
Three Bond 1401C is a red screwlocking material which contains synthetic resins and rubbers as its main components. In a single application it prevents screws, nuts and bolts from loosening, leaking and rusting. Threaded components assembled with TB1401C are designed to be removable with a force approximately 10 ~ 20% greater than that used for fastening. Being an air drying resin TB1401 C cures completely even outside the confines of the threaded sections. This means it can be used to replace conventional low strength anaerobic threadlockers and tamper-proof paints, and is applicable to plastic parts. For screws which require greater locking and are not subjected to frequent disassembly, Three Bond 1300 Series anaerobic locking agents are recommended. When cured TB1401 C is resilient and provides excellent vibration and impact resistance. Being of low viscosity, it penetrates into threads to prevent loosening and leakage & prevents rusting and corrosion. It has excellent locking effect for easy disassembly with normal tools. It does not affect plastics or painted parts and can be used in a wide range of temperatures. It maintains locking effect permanently.
