Hylomar® M is a gasketing compound that is non-setting and non-hardening. It is highly engineered, polyester-urethane based and is resistant to a wide range of fluids. These include, industrial fuels, oils, water and brine, and air, turbine and piston engine combustion products. This product can be used to seal both joint surfaces and threaded parts. The operating temperatures for Hylomar M are between –500C and up to 2500C (-580F and 4820F). Typical Properties Film Thickness- 0.03 mm Surface Finish Max - 3.0 µm Area covered by 80 mls - 1.36 m2 Product coverage after drying- 4 mg/cm2 Solvent Content- 42% Specific Gravity (ASTM D4659) - 1.035
