Plexus™ MA1020 is a blue, two-part methacrylate adhesive with very low cure shrinkage and very low odor, it is designed for the structural bonding of thermoplastic, metal and composite assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 ratio, MA1020 has a working time of 4 to 6 minutes and achieves 75% of ultimate strength in 15 to 20 minutes. This grade requires virtually no surface preparation and provides a unique combination of excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance and superior toughness once cured.
MA1020 offers an operating temperature of between -55°C up to +121°C and provides excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, acids & bases, and salt solutions. Recommended for use on ABS, Acrylics, FRP, Gelcoats, PVC, Polyesters, Styrencs, Urethanes and Vinyl Esters.
