Curing can be achieved at ambient temperatures, with optimal physical properties reached after 5-7 days at 77¬8F (25¬8C) or through a heat cure schedule of 1-3 hours at the same temperature followed by 16 hours at 160¬8F (71¬8C). The material is translucent amber in color and offers good tensile strength of around 850 psi, elongation of 990%, and tear strength of 95 pli. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, phthalate-free, and suitable for applications such as vibration dampening, over molding, and strain reliefs. However, it is not classified as UV resistant, and prolonged exposure to sunlight may affect its surface.
