AF-4 is a anti-foam 'surface tension relieving' agent manufactured by BJB Enterprises and designed to be used as an additive for polyurethane resins. The purpose of AF-4 is to assist in the vacuum degassing procedure by reducing the surface tension of entrained air bubbles within the resin mixture. In addition, AF-4 also assists with better resin flow and wet out in molds. This grade is completely silicone free and will not affect the color, appearance or bond ability of cured urethane parts. AF-4 works exceptionally well in the water clear aliphatic urethanes.
