Increased Repeatability Offering our aluminum fixture plates with a 1/4-20 tapped hole has allowed us to go from a hole spacing on 1" centers to a hole spacing on 1/2" centers. This reduces the need for using adjustable components since more holes increases the probability of standoffs and other rest pads aligning directly with your part.
