Raychem Rayrim edging material is a flexible, self-adhering strip designed for the protection of curved and straight edges on various substrates, including metal, wood, and glass. The product is manufactured from radiation cross-linked polyolefin and features a heat-activated adhesive that allows it to bond securely upon heating. It has a continuous operating temperature range of -55¬8C to +80¬8C (-67¬8F to 176¬8F), making it suitable for use in demanding environments. The edging material is available in black and has a diameter of 3.5 mm. It is RoHS compliant, ensuring it meets environmental standards. The product is packaged in standard lengths of 1.2 meters (4 feet) and is designed to be installed by selecting the largest size that fits snugly on the edge of the panel. The minimum shrink temperature is 120¬8C (248¬8F), with full recovery achieved at 150¬8C (302¬8F).
