The Tannoy CVS range has been designed to deliver the best possible performance / price balance; packaged with C-ring and tile bridge and fully supported with industry standard certifications, including UL-1480, UL-2043 and CE. The compact CVS6 is a 150mm (6.00") full bandwidth blind mount model, with integral steel back can, specifically designed for all applications requiring the combination of excellent sonic quality for music and speech reinforcement and exceptional reliability.
Ideally suited to installations where sound quality cannot be compromised, CVS6 ensures performance is fully optimised as cost competitvely as possible.
The CVS6 is supplied with an integral zinc-plated steel back can, with recessed termination box, the removable locking connector has screw terminals for secure wire termination and "loop through" facility. Strain relief is provided by a clamping mechanism for use with plenum rated cable or conduit.
An integral low insertion loss 60W line transformer uses an easily accessible front baffle mounted rotary tapping switch to select between low impedance and 70V or 100V operation:
70V: 60W / 30W / 15W / 7.5W / OFF & low impedance operation
100V: 60W / 30W / 15W / OFF & low impedance operation.
Security toggle clamps make for quick and easy installation, while two tile support rails and one C-ring are also included in the package. A plaster (mud) ring is available as an optional accessory.
