The G1169 is a lightweight blade antenna operating in the frequency range of 225 to 400 MHz.
The antenna has two main sections. The base section includes the flange for attachment to the aircraft. The radiating section is insulated from the base by means of a Teflon insulator.
Both pieces are of heat treated permanent mold aluminum cast
construction.
