The STBC15QTR is an ultra-low current consumption linear battery charger designed for thin film batteries, utilizing a constant current/constant voltage (CC-CV) charging algorithm. It supports a maximum charging current of 40 mA, which can be selected via dedicated pins. The device features a battery leakage current of only 250 nA and includes reverse current protection to safeguard the battery from supply input. The charger allows for programmable floating voltage with an accuracy of 0.5%, and it integrates overcurrent and over-discharge protection to enhance battery durability. A shelf-mode is supported, enabling the device to consume less than 10 nA, thus preventing battery discharge prior to activation.
