The PSAC Inductive Proximity Sensor from Red Lion Controls features a maximum sensing distance of 0.059 inches (1.5 mm) and is capable of detecting both ferrous and non-ferrous metal targets at pulse rates up to 5 KHz. It utilizes an NPN Open Collector output, compatible with various Red Lion Controls,Äô devices, and operates within a supply voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC at a maximum current of 20 mA. The sensor is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 0.75 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in length, with an epoxy encapsulated pole piece of 0.25 inches in diameter. It is available with cable lengths of 10, 25, or 50 feet, and is designed to function effectively in temperatures ranging from -25 ¬8C to +70 ¬8C. The sensor is internally shielded, allowing for flush mounting in metal applications without compromising sensing distance.
