These glass BOD bottles are made of Type 1 clear borosilicate glass, and have a specially designed shoulder radius that ensures removal of all air from inside the BOD bottle during filling. The pennyhead (round) style glass stoppers have a tapered bottom that also prevents air entrapment. The glass BOD bottles have a flared mouth to form a water seal around the stopper that prevents air from being drawn into the bottle during incubation. The glass stopper joint is compatible with the probes of the leading meters for BOD and dissolved oxygen. These glass BOD bottles are available in 60 ml and 300 ml sizes and have large, permanently screened-on white writing areas for convenient sample identification
